MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Junior forward/midfielder Sara Hohn (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) scored a pair of goals to help Shepherd University (1-4-1, 0-4-1 PSAC East) battle to a 2-2 tie with Millersville (2-3-3, 2-3-2 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Millersville on Saturday.
Hohn gave Shepherd a 1-0 lead at the break when she scored an unassisted goal at the 43:21 mark.
Millersville tied the game when Morgan Winchock scored on an assist from Lauren Downey at the 52:06 mark.
Hohn added another tally when she scored at the 62:39 mark to give the Rams a 2-1 advantage.
Millersville got a goal from Kylie Sullivan on an assist from Savannah Rennix at the 84:07 mark to earn the tie.
Sophomore Faith Geraci (Keedysville, Md./Boonsboro) had eight saves in goal for the Rams. Regan Kolinski had four saves for the Marauders.
Millersville had a 21-10 advantage in shots with a 13-6 edge in shots on goal. The Marauders had a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to Kutztown for a 7 p.m. contest.
