SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (3-9-1, 2-9-1 PSAC East) posted a 2-0 win over Mansfield (1-11-2, 0-10-2 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.
Freshman forward Megan Kozdras (Odenton, Md./Arundel) scored an unassisted goal at the 19:28 mark to give the Rams a 1-0 advantage.
Sophomore midfielder/forward Paris Kimbrell (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville) added another tally at the 35:45 mark on a pass from senior forward Madi White (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove).
Senior Lulu Fricks (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield) had seven saves in goal for the Rams. Faith Cameron had two saves for the Mounties.
Mansfield had a 13-6 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in shots on goal. The Mounties had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Lock Haven for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
