LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Samuel Hershey had a goal and two assists, while Dean Lewis had a goal and an assist to lead Lock Haven (11-4-3, 7-4-1 PSAC East) to a 4-0 win over Shepherd (2-15-1, 0-11-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Lock Haven on Wednesday.
Zane Puhala and Beckham Sibiski tallied first-half goals to give Lock Haven a 2-0 lead at the break.
The Bald Eagles got second-half goals from Lewis and Hershey in the second half.
Junior netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded five saves for the Rams. Aitor Ruiz De Eguilaz (72:00, 1 save) and Brady Freiwald (18:00, 1 save) combined for two saves for the Bald Eagles.
Lock Haven had a 19-3 advantage in shots with a 9-2 edge in shots on goal. The Bald Eagles had a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Millersville at 3:30 p.m.
