SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – East Stroudsburg (5-4-4, 4-4-1 PSAC East) posted a 2-1 win over Shepherd University (1-6-1, 0-6-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.
Junior forward/midfielder Sara Hohn (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) scored an unassisted goal at the 2:04 mark to give the Rams a 1-0 lead at the break.
The Warriors tied the game on a penalty kick by Rebecca Kotula at the 65:30 mark.
Mirthe Bos scored on a feed from Haley Skove at the 89:28 mark to lift East Stroudsburg to the win.
Sophomore Faith Geraci (Keedysville, Md./Boonsboro) had three saves in goal for the Rams. Mauri Jackson posted a save for the Warriors.
East Stroudsburg had a 12-3 advantage in shots with a 5-2 edge in shots on goal. The Warriors had a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to Mansfield for a 1 p.m. contest.
