Shepherd Women’s Soccer Battles to 1-1 Tie with Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore midfielder Delaney Bittner (York, Pa./Red Lion Area Senior) scored on a feed from freshman forward Lydia Gable (Felton, Pa./Kennard Dale) at the 55:23 mark to help Shepherd University (4-4-3, 3-4-2 PSAC East) battle to a 1-1 tie with Millersville (1-6-3, 1-5-3 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Millersville on Saturday. 

Isabel Coy scored on an assist from Morgan Winchock at the 45:41 mark to give the Marauders a 1-0 advantage. 

Millersville had a 14-3 edge in shots with a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Marauders had a 7-5 edge in corner kicks. 

Sophomore Alayna Burgamy (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Pitt-Johnstown) recorded four saves in goal for the Rams. Regan Kolinski posted two saves for the Marauders. 

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Kutztown for a 1 p.m. contest.
