Bloomsburg Downs Shepherd Men’s Soccer

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Liam Harmon scored a goal and assisted on another to lead Bloomsburg (12-2-1, 7-1-1 PSAC East) to a 3-0 win over Shepherd University (1-9-6, 0-7-3 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Bloomsburg on Wednesday evening. 

Bloomsburg took a 1-0 lead when Shay Gillen scored on an assist from Liam Harmon at the 17:02 mark. 

The Huskies took a 2-0 advantage into the break as Teagan Wallace scored on a pass from Mackenzie Fairs at the 44:29 mark.

Bloomsburg added a second half tally as Harmon scored on an assist from Sammy Ames at the 79:34 mark. 

Junior Christian Blazes (Hagerstown, Md./Heritage Academy/Hagerstown CC) recorded six saves in goal for the Rams. Brady Rimple had three saves for the Huskies. 

Bloomsburg had a 19-9 edge in shots with a 9-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Huskies had a 9-2 edge in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Lock Haven for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
