Shepherd Men’s Soccer Earns Scoreless Tie with East Stroudsburg

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (1-7-5, 0-5-2 PSAC East) battled to a scoreless tie with East Stroudsburg (5-7-1, 4-3-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday afternoon. 

Senior Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded nine saves in goal for the Rams. Helgi Hermannson posted one save for the Warriors. 

East Stroudsburg had an 18-3 edge in shots with a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal. The Warriors had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Millersville for a 6 p.m. match.
