SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (13-6, 5-2 PSAC East) swept Bloomsburg (4-16, 1-6 PSAC East) in PSAC East volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The Rams gained a 25-10, 25-23, 25-14 win to run their winning streak to five matches.
Senior outside hitter Mikaylah Hoy (Sharpsburg, Md./Heritage Academy) had 14 kills and eight digs to pace the Rams. Junior setter Victoria Nicholes (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) added 29 assists and 11 digs.
Redshirt-sophomore libero Claire Ellis (Louisa, Va./Saint Catherine's School) contributed 11 digs, six aces, and four assists.
Emma Antigua recorded six kills for the Huskies. Hannah Robson added a match-high 15 digs.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Shippensburg for a 7 p.m. match.
