SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Emily Mitarontonda had seven goals and an assist to lead eighth-ranked East Stroudsburg (7-0, 3-0 PSAC East) to an 18-7 win over Shepherd University (3-4, 1-2 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Saturday. 
Senior attacker Katherine Campbell (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) had two goals and an assist to pace the Rams. Sophomore midfielder Kaiya Edwards (Brogue, Pa./Red Lion) added a pair of goals. 
Senior midfielder Maddison Young (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle), senior midfielder Kira Barth (Sykesville, Md./Century), and senior attacker Haleigh Piccolo (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) each tallied a goal. Sophomore attack Sam Lassahn (Baltimore, Md./Concordia Prep) contributed a pair of assists. 
Gianna LeDuc added four goals and three assists for the Warriors. 
East Stroudsburg had an 8-5 lead at halftime. 
Senior goalkeeper Hailey Bennett (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) had 15 saves for the Rams. McKenzie Gaghan (4) and Bella Gismondi (4) combined for eight saves for East Stroudsburg.  
East Stroudsburg had a 39-22 edge in shots with a 33-15 advantage in shots on goal. The Warriors were 18-of-21 in clears, while Shepherd was 15-of-23. East Stroudsburg had a 20-16 edge in ground balls and a 17-11 advantage in draw controls. 
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host West Chester at 4 p.m.
