SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (2-1-1, 1-1-0 PSAC East) recorded a 2-0 win over Millersville (0-3-0, 0-2-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.
Senior forward/midfielder Sara Hohn (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 11:14 mark.
Sophomore midfielder Delaney Bittner (York, Pa./Red Lion Area Senior) scored on a feed from freshman midfielder Adrianna Morales (Holmdel, N.J./Holmdel) at the 12:57 mark to give the Rams a 2-0 advantage.
Millersville had a 24-10 advantage in shots with a 12-6 edge in shots on goal. Millersville had a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
Junior goalkeeper Faith Leisinger (Keedysville, Md./Boonsboro) recorded 12 saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Reagan Kolinski posted four saves for the Marauders.
