MANSFIELD, Pa. – Jasmine Hilton had 26 points,16 rebounds, and four steals to lead Mansfield (2-13, 1-10 PSAC) to a 72-63 win over Shepherd University (0-16, 0-11 PSAC) in PSAC women's basketball action at Mansfield on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore guard Meghan Shipley (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led the Rams with 20 points. She was 5-of-11 from the floor with a 2-of-3 effort from three-point range. She was 8-of-11 from the foul line.
Senior forward Cara Minor (Hundred, W.Va./North Marion) added 15 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Freshman guard Peyton Grant (Plymouth, Maine/Dexter Regional) was also in double figures with 11 points.
Madison Fox added 16 points, seven assists, and five rebounds for the Mounties. Emilie Leidig tossed in 10 points.
Mansfield had a 44-24 lead at halftime.
Shepherd rallied to within five points at 60-55 after a three-pointer by Shipley with 5:11 left in the game. The Rams would get no closer.
Shepherd shot 41.8 percent (28-67) from the floor with a 26.9 percent (7-26) performance from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit on 56.3 percent (9-16) of their free throws.

Mansfield had a 46-39 edge in rebounding. The Rams forced 18 turnovers and committed 21.
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to West Chester for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
