Shepherd Tennis Teams Fall to Salem

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a pair of matches to Salem in tennis action at Shepherd on Saturday. The men (0-4) dropped a 7-0 decision while the women (0-2) came up short on a 4-1 decision. 

Junior Sebastian Sevilla (Ambato, Ecuador/Unidad Educativa Atenas) and senior Yuto Shimotsuji (Osaka, Japan/Naniwa/Campbellsville) teamed for a 6-3 win at number one doubles. 

Senior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win at number one singles.  

The Rams conclude their fall schedule.
