EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Shepherd University (8-10, 3-2 PSAC East) fell to East Stroudsburg (12-5, 5-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East volleyball action at East Stroudsburg on Saturday. The Rams dropped a 25-14, 25-22, 25-23 decision.
Freshman outside hitter Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) had 10 kills, and freshman outside hitter Jordan Pryor (Middletown, Md./Middletown) recorded nine to lead the Rams.
Senior setter Victoria Nicholes (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) contributed 26 assists and 10 digs. Senior libero Claire Ellis Louisa, Va./Saint Catherine's School) recorded a match-high 17 digs.
Junior middle hitter Renee Killough (Bloomery, W.Va./Hampshire) had eight kills and five blocks.
Claire Chaloux had nine kills and Kaylee LoPresto added eight to lead the Warriors. Makayla Baca posted 14 digs, while Taylor Haan added 29 assists and three aces.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Millersville for a 7 p.m. match.
