LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's cross country team finished 21st in a 21-team field with a score of 639 in a 10K race, while the women's cross country team finished 25th in a 25-team field with a score of 714 in a 6K race at the NCAA II Atlantic Regionals at Lock Haven on Saturday. Charleston won the men's race with a score of 54. George Couttie of Charleston won individual honors with a time of 30:10.5. Charleston won the women's race with a score of 74. Kylie Anicic of Edinboro took individual honors with a time of 20:19.2.
The women were led by freshman Camryn Row (Hagerstown, Md./Boonsboro) who finished 120th with a time of 24:13.9. She was followed by sophomore Riley Staub (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) (133rd, 24:37.6), freshman Nadia Remaley (Burkittsville, Md./Brunswick) (149th, 25:26.2), sophomore Taylor Shroades (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) (163rd, 26:41.0), junior Leah Stambaugh (Broadway, Va./Broadway) (168th, 28:04.0), freshman Elizabeth Cushwa (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) (171st, 28:45.8), and senior Kayla Austin (Herndon, Va./Westfield) (172nd, 29:34.0).
The men were led by sophomore Parker Mackey (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) who finished 118th with a time of 34:50.2. He was followed by freshman Connor Ireland (Charles Town, W.Va./Jefferson) (131st, 36:08.1), freshman Taydan Cloonan (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) (139th, 36:54.6), sophomore Aiden Sensabaugh (Keyser, W.Va./Frankfort) (142nd, 37:13.9), junior James Burdock (Stephenson, Va./James Wood) (146th, 38:08.9), freshman Julian Pickens (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) (150th, 39:14.5), and freshman Luke Haskins (Adamstown, Md./Tuscarora) (152nd, 40:15.8).
