SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Shepherd University women's tennis team earned a 5-2 win over East Stroudsburg in PSAC tennis action at Shepherd on Monday.

Freshman Ximena Bolanos Tellez  (Mineral de la Reforma, Mexico Colegio Makarenko), senior Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown), freshman Charlotte Pardue, and sophomore Andrea Navarrete (Martinsburg, W.Va./Spring Mills) all recorded singles wins for the Rams.

Tellez teamed with junior Marketa Beladova (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic/Iowa Central Community College) for a 6-1 win at number one doubles. Mascari and sophomore Anna Mooney (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) posted a 6-3 win at number two doubles, while Pardue and junior Kambria Kosanic (Aurora, W.Va./Preston) gained a win by forfeit at number three doubles.

The Rams women move to 3-13 overall, 1-7 in PSAC play. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 3 p.m. match.
