BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Amanda Stoll scored four goals to lead Bloomsburg (6-6, 3-4 PSAC East) to a 13-9 win over Shepherd University (5-7, 1-6 PSAC East) dropped a 13-9 decision to in PSAC East women's lacrosse action at Bloomsburg on Saturday.
Junior midfielder Kaiya Edwards (Brogue, Pa./Red Lion) and freshman attacker Holly Poe (Sykesville, Md./Century) each had three goals and an assist to lead the Rams.
Junior attacker Shanna Dextradeur (Middletown, Md./Middletown) added two goals, while sophomore midfielder Katie Paredes (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) tallied another. Freshman attacker Rebekah Forney (Walkersville, Md./Mount De Sales) contributed a pair of assists.
Sophomore defender Sydney Witmer (Damascus, Md./Damascus) led the defense with game-high efforts of four ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Kelsey Clauss added three goals and two assists for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had an 8-5 lead at halftime.
Senior goalkeeper Hailey Bennett (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) recorded 12 saves for the Rams. Lauren Foley posted two saves for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had a 32-15 advantage in shots with a 25-11 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd was 16-of-27 in clears, while Bloomsburg was 13-of-19. The Huskies had a 24-20 advantage in ground balls and a 17-7 advantage in draw controls.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Kutztown for a 4 p.m. contest.
