Shepherd Women’s Soccer Battles to Scoreless Tie with Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. –  Shepherd University (2-0-2, 0-0-2 PSAC East) and Millersville (1-1-2, 1-1-1 PSAC East) battled to a scoreless tie in PSAC East women's soccer action at Millersville on Wednesday night. 

Junior goalkeeper Alayna Burgamy (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Pitt-Johnstown) recorded a pair of saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Bella Fiorenza had five saves for the Marauders. 

Shepherd had a 14-5 edge in shots and a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Rams had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. contest.
