MANSFIELD, Pa. –  Shepherd University (3-2-3, 1-2-3 PSAC East) batted to a scoreless tie with Mansfield (3-4-1, 2-3-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Mansfield on Wednesday. 

Junior goalkeeper Alayna Burgamy (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson/Pitt-Johnstown) recorded  three saves for the Rams. Samantha Merklin had seven saves for the Mounties. 

Shepherd had a 17-8 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal. Shepherd had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Lock Haven for a 1 p.m. contest.
