BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's and women's golf teams completed play at the Vulcan Invitational on Monday at the Cedarbrook Gold Golf Course. The men shot a three-round total of 912 to finish sixth in a 16-team field. The women's team had three competitors. Gannon won the men's title with a three-round total of 878. Alvernia won the women's title with a two-round total of 632. 

The men were led by sophomore Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) who fired a three-round total of 224 to tie for 15th place. He was followed by sophomore Nop Satijavitisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, Thailand/International Community School) (226, T-23rd), senior Chris Neighbors (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (230, T-30th), and sophomore Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (232, T-50th). Sophomore Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) did not finish. 

Sophomore Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) shot a 157 to tie for fourth place to lead the women. She was followed by senior Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (174, T-32nd) and sophomore Ryley Bolyard (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville/Meredith College) (227, 48th). 

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they compete at the Cardinal Classic.
