Luke Barger (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/Alderson Broaddus) and sophomore midfielder
Josue Guzman (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) en route to a 2-0 win over Shippensburg (2-5-0, 1-3-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.
Barger scored on an assist from sophomore midfielder
Donik Elshani (Crofton, Md./Crofton) at the 58:57 mark to give the Rams a 1-0 lead.
Gizman scored an unassisted goal at the 84:47 mark to cap the scoring.
Freshman goalkeeper
Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) posted four saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Ryan Krumenacker recorded five saves for the Raiders.
Shepherd had a 15-7 advantage in shots with a 7-4 edge in shots on goal. Shippensburg had a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Chester for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
