SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (3-8-2, 1-6-0 PSAC East) dropped a 2-0 decision to #24 Bloomsburg (11-2-1, 6-1-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday.
After a scoreless first half, the Huskies opened the scoring when Koday Besser scored off a corner kick from Jake Pacacha at the 65:22 mark.
Bloomsburg added an insurance goal when Pacacha scored on a corner kick by Alex Wilsterman at the 73:26 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper
Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) tied a career-high effort with nine saves for the Rams. Brady Rimple did not record a save for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had an 18-0 edge in shots with an 11-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Huskies had an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host West Chester at 3:30 p.m. for Youth Day.
