Adrianna Morales (Holmdel, N.J./Holmdel) at the 17:24 mark to lead 14th-ranked Shepherd University (13-1-4, 13-1-2 PSAC East) to a 1-0 win over West Chester (10-6-1, 9-6-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at West Chester on Saturday.
Shepherd had a 13-5 edge in shots and a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. Corner kicks were even at two apiece.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Hannah Wilt (Saint Leonard, Md./Calvert) recorded five saves en route to her 10th shutout of the year for the Rams. The tenth shutout set a new Shepherd individual and team single-season mark (the previous mark was 9 in 2005). Grace Keen had two saves for the Golden Rams.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Bloomsburg University at 1 p.m. in the PSAC Tournament quarterfinal round.
