SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (21-4, 12-0 PSAC East) swept Bloomsburg (8-17, 5-7 PSAC East) in PSAC East volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The Rams recorded a 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 win for their 13th consecutive victory.
Senior right side
Joi Fairweather (Tamarac, Fla./Calvary Christian Academy)led the Rams with 14 kills and a .520 attack percentage. She added a match-high six blocks with three solo blocks.
Sophomore outside hitter
Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) added seven kills, while sophomore middle hitter
Rylee Lenz (Earleville, Md./Bohemia Manor) and sophomore middle hitter/right side
Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) each had six.
Junior setter
Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) contributed 33 assists and four digs. Senior defensive specialist/libero
Harli Zeitz (Lake Worth, Fla./Somerset Academy Canyons) recorded a match-high 13 digs and a pair of aces. Sophomore outside hitter
Jordan Pryor (Middletown, Md./Middletown)had 11 digs.
Emily Gustie had six kills and six digs to pace the Huskies. Elise Adelman added 20 assists and 11 digs.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to West Chester for a 6 p.m. match.
