MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Shepherd University (18-22, 11-15 PSAC East) dropped a doubleheader with #14/12 Millersville (35-9, 20-5 PSAC East) in PSAC East baseball action at Millersville on Friday. The Marauders gained a 2-1 win in game one and added a 5-3 victory in the nightcap.
Millersville took a 1-0 lead in the first inning in game one as Mark McNelly doubled and later scored on a single by Matthew Williams.
Shepherd scored a run in the third to tie the game as junior first baseman
Aidan Greaney (New Windsor, Md./South Carroll/Frederick CC) singled and scored on a double off the bat of senior outfielder
Corey Jamison (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport).
The Marauders scored game-winner in the fifth as Justin Taylor reached on an error and later scored on a bunt single by Jeff Sabater.

Mike Guzzardo (Mullica Hill, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep/RCSJ Cumberland) each had a pair of hits to pace the Rams.
Sabater and Sam Morris had two hits each for the Marauders.

Millersville took a 3-0 lead in the first in the nightcap as McNelly and Cole Houser each had run-scoring singles and Williams added a sacrifice fly.

The Rams tied the game in the fourth as Jamison tripled and later scored on a single by freshman catcher
Collin Snyder (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend).
The Marauders got a two-run triple from Taylor in the bottom of the sixth to earn the sweep.
Guzzardo went 4-for-4 to lead the Rams.
Houser went 3-for-3 for Millersville.
