GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's and women's golf teams completed final round action at the WCU Battlefield Classic hosted by West Chester at The Links at Gettysburg on Tuesday. The men finished in third place in a seven-team field, while the women placed eighth in an eight–team field.
 
Junior Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) paced the men with a fifth place effort. He was followed by freshman Andrew Taylor (Summit Point, W.Va./Washington) (T-11th), sophomore Killian Donnelly (Palmyra, Va./Palmyra) (T-14th), junior Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) (19th), junior Nop Satjavitvisarn (Yannawa Bangkok, Thailand/International Community School)  (27th), and junior Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (29th).
                 
Junior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) led the women with a 14th place performance. She was followed by graduate student Amanda Deener (Middletown, Md./Frederick Christian Academy/Homeschool Umbrella Program) (26th), graduate student Olivia Rosick (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) (28th), and freshman Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (41st).                            
 
The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to the Vulcan Invitational hosted by California (Pa.).
