SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Taja Colbert had a game-high 23 points and four steals to lead Shippensburg (8-11, 5-8 PSAC) to a 74-67 win over Shepherd (4-16, 1-13 PSAC) in PSAC women's basketball action at Shippensburg on Wednesday. 
 
Freshman forward 
Lamaria Estridge (Walkersville, Md./St. Andrew's Episcopal) scored a team-high 20 points to lead the Rams. She connected on 9-of-15 field goals with a 1-of-2 effort from three-point range. She was 1-of-2 from the foul line.
 
Sophomore forward 
Jenna Liska (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty/Frostburg State) added 17 points, four rebounds, a team-high three steals, and a game-high three blocks. Sophomore guard 
Samiyah Nasir (Gwynn Oak, Md./Howard/College of Saint Rose) contributed 11 points and three boards. Freshman guard 
Trinity Turner (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) contributed six points, a team-high three assists, and tied Shippensburg's Abbie Miller for game-high rebounding honors with seven.
 
Miller added 20 points and three steals for the Raiders. Bella Chimienti had a game-high five assists. 
 
Shepherd had a 47.2 percent (25-53) field goal percentage with a 35.7 percent effort (5-14) effort from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit 60 percent (12-20) from the foul line. 
 
Shippensburg connected on 53.7 percent (29-54) of its field goals with 28.6 percent effort (2-7) from three-point range. The Raiders hit 70 percent (14-20) of their free throws.
 
The Raiders had a 31-29 rebounding advantage. Shepherd forced 19 turnovers and committed 21.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host East Stroudsburg for a 1 p.m. game.
