SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. –  Brie Droege had a game-high 20 points and nine rebounds to lead East Stroudsburg (9-11, 6-8 PSAC) to a 58-47 win over Shepherd (4-17, 1-14 PSAC) in PSAC women's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. 
 
Sophomore guard 
Samiyah Nasir (Gwynn Oak, Md./Howard/College of Saint Rose) scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Rams. She connected on 6-of-9 field goals with a 2-of-2 effort from the foul line. 
 
Freshman forward 
Lamaria Estridge (Walkersville, Md./St. Andrew's Episcopal) added 11 points, six boards, and two steals. Sophomore guard 
Cassidy Rhodes (Point of Rocks, Md./Brunswick)  recorded six points, four rebounds,  and two steals, while sophomore forward 
Carmaya Bowman (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) also grabbed six rebounds.
 
Emily Chmiel had 14 points and a game-high 14 boards for the Warriors.  Brooke Droege added 14 points and four rebounds.
East Stroudsburg had a 32-31 lead at halftime.
The Warriors outscored the Rams, 14-4, in the third quarter to pull away for the win.
 
Shepherd had a 33.3 percent (19-57) field goal percentage with a 10 percent effort (2-20) effort from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit 87.5 percent (7-8) from the foul line. 
 
The Warriors connected on 36.2 percent (21-58) of its field goals with 25 percent effort (3-12) from three-point range. East Stroudsburg drained 61.9 percent (13-21) of their free throws.
 
East Stroudsburg had a 43-35 rebounding advantage. Each team had 20 turnovers.
 
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to West Chester for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
