Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (13-5, 3-2 PSAC East) fell in five sets to East Stroudsburg (13-5, 3-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday evening. East Stroudsburg earned a 24-26, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11 victory.
Freshman outside hitter Ada McCoy (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) posted a match-high 18 kills to pace the Rams. She added 14 digs and five blocks. Junior outside hitter Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) added 10 kills, seven digs, four aces, and two blocks.
Sophomore outside hitter Gracie Zartman (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown/St. Mary's) posted 21 digs, while freshman libero Paige Hansen (Savage, Minn./Academy of Holy Angels) had 13.
Senior setter Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) posted a match-high 35 assists and 10 digs. Senior libero/defensive specialist Madigan Faircloth (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/Liberty) added 11 digs and junior middle hitter/right side Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) posted a team-high six blocks.
Romina Martinezhad 17 kills and Kelly Crites added 16 kills and 15 digs to lead the Warriors. Marta Lee added a match-high 25 digs.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Millersville for a 6 p.m. contest.
