BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Shepherd University cross country teams competed at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University on Friday. The men finished 30th in a 35-team field, while the women placed 29th in a 34-team field.
The men were led by freshman
Logan Feeg (Robesonia, Pa./Conrad Weiser) who finished in 86th with a time of 28:15.9. He was followed by senior
Parker Mackey (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) (113th, 28:35.7), freshman
Mason Ratke (Ridgeley, Md./Frankfort) (216th, 30:22.0), sophomore
Jackson Fiolek (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Washington) (227th,30:34.3), junior
Connor Ireland (Charles Town, W.Va./Jefferson) (285th, 34:30.6), and senior
Nick Yankle (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) (288th, 34:37.47).
The women were led by junior
Riley Staub (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) who finished 105th with a time of 25:29.0. She was followed by sophomore

Aubrey Fernandez (Warrenton, Va./Fauquier/Emory and Henry) (175th,27:01.2), freshman

The Rams return to action on Oct. 18 when they travel to the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College.
