MILLERSVILLE, Pa. -- Shepherd University (8-1-6, 7-1-6 PSAC East) recorded a 2-1 win over Millersville (7-6-3, 7-5-3 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Millersville on Wednesday night.

Lydia Gable (Felton, Pa./Kennard Dale) scored on an assist from senior midfielder
Josie Beezel (Woodsboro, Md./Linganore) at the 7:18 mark to give the Rams a 1-0 advantage.
Junior midfielder
Taylor Schuck (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) scored on a pass from senior defender
Erika Moore (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) at the 26:44 mark to give the Rams a 2-0 lead.
Lia Francis scored on a feed from Aubrey Strohecker at the 35:53 mark for the Marauders.
Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper
Hannah Wilt (Saint Leonard, Md./Calvert) recorded a save for the Rams. Sabrina Zimmerman recorded three saves for the Marauders.
Shepherd had a 9-3 advantage in shots with a 5-2 edge in shots on goal. The Rams had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Shepherd, the third seed in the East, will travel to Gannon, the second seed in the West, for PSAC Tournament quarterfinal action on Tuesday. Game time has yet to be announced.
