BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – #22 Bloomsburg (9-2-6, 4-2-4 PSAC East) recorded a 2-1 win over Shepherd University (6-11-0, 3-7-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Bloomsburg on Thursday evening.
Bloomsburg took a 2-0 lead into the break as Owen Holobaugh scored on an assist from Zayd DeVeaux at the 16:50 mark, and Ty Maser added a goal at the 40:59 mark on assists from Nicholas Guzak and Caleb Sitler.
Freshman midfielder
Rylan Hertzog (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) scored on a feed from sophomore forward Joshua Petty (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll/Queens University of Charlotte) at the 77:24 mark for the Rams.
Freshman goalkeeper
Ilyas Samantar (Fairfax, Va./Oakton) posted two saves for the Rams. Peter Punchello recorded three saves for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had a 12-9 advantage in shots, while shots on goal were even at four apiece. Shepherd had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams complete the 2025 season. Shepherd's six victories on the season are the most since the Rams recorded six wins in 2014.
