SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore guard
Marcus Banks (Clinton, Md./Riverdale Baptist) scored a game-high 18 points to lead Shepherd University (16-9, 12-6 PSAC) to a 91-57 win over Mansfield (8-17, 5-14 PSAC) in PSAC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Wednesday night.
Banks connected on 7-of-11 field goals with a 4-of-6 effort from three-point range. He added four rebounds and four assists.

Chase Paar (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg Country
School/Towson) added 12 points, while freshman guard
Brody Davis (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) tossed in 11 points and had a game-high six assists. Freshman guard
Elwyne Wordlaw (Frederick, Md./Frederick) was also in double figures with 10 points. Freshman forward
Favor Okigweh (Edgewood, Md./Parkville/The Winchedon School) grabbed a game-high 11 boards.
Ty Crespo had 14 points and Diamid Stewart had 13 to lead Mansfield.
Shepherd had a 39-24 lead at halftime as Paar (8) and Banks (7) combined for 15 first-half points.
Shepherd connected on 53.1 percent (34-64) of its field goals with a 48.5 percent (16-33) performance from three-point range for the game. The Rams drained 87.5 percent (7-8) of their free throws.
Mansfield shot 39 percent (23-59) from the floor with a 33.3 percent (7-21) effort from beyond the arc. The Bald Eagles hit 66.7 percent (4-6) from the foul line.
Shepherd had a 45-23 edge in rebounding. The Rams forced eight turnovers and committed seven.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Kutztown for a 3 p.m. contest.
