LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Sophomore pitcher Madelayne Ruffner (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) of the Shepherd University softball team has been named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

Ruffner helped lead the Rams to a 4-0 week as she recorded a pair of wins and a save. She fanned 27 and walked three in 13.0 innings. Ruffner scattered four hits and allowed only one earned run.
