KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Shepherd University (28-23-1) dropped a 1-0 decision to Bloomsburg (32-19) in nine innings in NCAA II Atlantic Regional action at Kutztown on Thursday. Senior third baseman
Lauren Moore (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora/Trevecca Nazarene) had a double for Shepherd's only extra-base hit. She now has 19 doubles on the season to tie the Shepherd single-season mark of 19 set by Nicole Purtell in 2023.
Taylor Kranzley led off the ninth with a double and moved to third on a sacrifice by Allie Wenrich. Emma Little followed with a single up the middle to plate Kranzley with the game-winner.
