 The Shepherd University volleyball team got a pair of wins at the UC-WVSU Crossover at West Virginia State on
 Friday
. The Rams (4-1) took a 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 win over Point Park (0-5) in the early match and added a 25-18, 19-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-13 win in five sets against West Virginia State (2-3) in the later match.
Freshman outside hitter 
Emily Ryder (Smithsburg, Md./Smithsburg) had a match-high 11 kills and freshman outside hitter 
Ada McCoy (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) added 10 to pace the Rams against the Pioneers.
 
Junior middle hitter 
Rylee Lenz (Earleville, Md./Bohemia Manor) added eight kills with a .571 attack percentage and five blocks. Junior middle hitter/right side 
Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) contributed seven kills and four blocks. 
 
Senior libero/defensive specialist 
Madigan Faircloth (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/Liberty) led the Rams with nine digs. McCoy and junior outside hitter 
Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) each added seven.
 
Senior setter 
Macy Buso (Parker, Colo./Chaparral) recorded a match-high 34 assists and three aces.
 
Nicole Reasbeck posted eight kills, and Avery Budrys Rini added a match-high 10 digs to lead the Pioneers.
 
McCoy had 19 kills to pace the Rams in the win over West Virginia State. Ryan added 12 kills and five blocks, while Ryder had 11 kills.
 
Faircloth had 16 digs, seven assists, and four aces. Buso contributed 45 assists, 11 digs, and a pair of blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist/libero 
Kiela Sanger (Sunnyvale, Texas/Sunnyvale) recorded 14 digs.
 
Alyssa Hill had a match-high 25 kills for the Yellow Jackets. Giatta Iquinto added 20 digs.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Charleston for final-day action of the UC-WV State Crossover. Shepherd will face Glenville State at 4 p.m. and Charleston at 7 p.m.
