EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Fifth-ranked Shepherd University (1-0-2, 1-0-2 PSAC East) battled to a 1-1 tie with East Stroudsburg (0-0-3, 0-0-3 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon.
Shepherd took a 1-0 lead at the 6:20 mark when senior defender
Erika Moore (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) scored on assists from junior midfielder
Reagan Ackermann (Myersville, Md./Middletown/UNC Wilmington) and senior midfielder
Josie Beezel (Woodsboro, Md./Linganore).
East Stroudsburg tied the game when Jade Wiley scored an unassisted goal at the 39:04 mark.

Hannah Wilt (Saint Leonard, Md./Calvert) (83:43, 1 GA) and freshman goalkeeper
Kendall Wright (Ashland, Va./Hanover) (6:17, 0 GA) did not record a save for the Rams. Emmy Clarkson had seven saves for the Raiders.
Shepherd had a 13-1 advantage in shots with an 8-1 edge in shots on goal. The Rams had a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Kutztown for a 7 p.m. contest.
