SALISBURY, Md. – The Shepherd University men's cross country team finished fifth in an eight-team field with a score of 168 in a 5K race, while the women's cross country had four team members compete at the Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday.
 
The men were led by freshman Logan Feeg (Robesonia, Pa./Conrad Weiser) who finished in 37th with a time of 28:10.10. He was followed by senior Parker Mackey (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) (31st, 28:52.10), sophomore Jackson Fiolek (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Washington)(34th,30:12.50), freshman Mason Ratke (Ridgeley, Md./Frankfort)  (36th, 30:16:60) and senior Nick Yankle (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) (41st, 34:39.40).

The women were led by junior Riley Staub (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman) who finished 39th with a time of 25:08.50. She was followed by sophomore Zoe Boyd (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) (52nd, 25:55.00), freshman Aubrey Fernandez (Warrenton, Va./Fauquier/Emory and Henry) (57th,26:30.60), and freshman Gabrielle Thompson Servant  (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) (82nd/35:03.50).

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.
