Hadley Robertson (New Market, Md./Linganore) each scored three goals to lead Shepherd (1-1) to a 21-6 win over Wheeling (0-3) in women's lacrosse action at Wheeling on Wednesday afternoon. The victory gave Shepherd head coach Braxtin Reddinger her first career win.

Rebekah Stotler (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) recorded a goal and two assists, while junior midfielder
Aubrey Harrison (Fairmont, W.Va./Fairmont Senior) had a goal and an assist. Sophomore midfielder
Jordan White (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) and sophomore attacker
Grace Meyer (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) each tallied a goal.
Senior attacker
Madison Peacher (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) had three assists, and Robertson posted an assist.
Junior defender
Luetta Seipp (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) had four ground balls and three caused turnovers to lead the defensive effort for the Rams.
Trinity Rose had three goals and two assists to pace the Cardinals. She added six draw controls and five caused turnovers.
The Rams scored eight consecutive goals in the first half to take a 10-4 lead into the break. Stevenson, Warner, and Batchellor each had a pair of first-half goals.
Freshman netminder
Bailey Terry (Rockville, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) (7 saves, 5 GA, 30:00) and senior goalkeeper
Destiny Rockwell (Glengary, W.Va./Musselman) (2 saves, 1 GA, 30:00) combined to record nine saves for the Rams. Giavonna Perkins (6 saves, 16 GA, 41:55) and Meckenzie Caldwell (5 saves, 5 GA, 18:05) posted 11 saves for the Cardinals.
Shepherd had a 37-19 advantage in shots with a 29-13 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd was 22-of-25 in clears and Wheeling was 16-of-22. The Cardinals had a 28-24 advantage in ground balls. Shepherd had a 15-13 edge in draw controls with Lyon recorded in a game-high 11 draws.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Frostburg State for a 5 p.m. contest.
