BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Marykate Sitko scored five goals to lead Bloomsburg (2-4, 1-1 PSAC East) to an 18-6 win over Shepherd (1-4, 0-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's lacrosse action at Bloomsburg on Saturday.
Sophomore attacker
Grace Meyer (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) led the Rams with a pair of goals.
Senior attacker
Rebekah Forney (Adamstown, Md./Mount De Sales), junior midfielder
Aubrey Harrison (Fairmont, W.Va./Fairmont Senior), sophomore midfielder
Grace Lyon (Ocean City, Md./McDonough), and freshman attacker
Hadley Robertson (New Market, Md./Linganore) each netted a goal.
Freshman attacker/midfielder
Rebekah Stotler (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) posted an assist.
Lyon also recorded a game-high 10 draw controls, four ground balls, and a pair of caused turnovers.
Samantha Keck added two goals and an assist for the Huskies. Brianna Austin had a goal and three assists.
Freshman netminder
Bailey Terry (Rockville, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) (5 saves, 16 GA, 39:14) and senior goalkeeper
Destiny Rockwell (Glengary, W.Va./Musselman) (1 save, 2 GA, 20:46) combined to record six saves for the Rams. Emily Grahma posted six saves for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg held a 36-26 advantage in shots and a 24-15 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd was 14-of-16 in clears, and Bloomsburg was 17-of-19. The Huskies had an 18-15 advantage in ground balls and a 13-12 edge in draw controls.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Millersville for a 4 p.m. contest.
