WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Shepherd University men's golf team completed final round action at the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational at Penn Oak Golf Club on Tuesday. The Rams finished fifth in a 13-team field with a team total of 619. Will Hilton of West Chester took individual medalist honors with a 144. Lafayette took team honors with a 601.
Freshman
Killian Donnelly (Palmyra, Va./Palmyra) fired a two-round total of 151 and tied for 10th place to lead the Rams. He was followed by senior
Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) and sophomore
Campbell Koegler (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park), who each carded a 155 and tied for 18th. They were followed by senior
Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) (158, T-32nd), senior
Joey Leisinger (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) (159, T-38th), and sophomore
Ben Heidrick (Rosedale, Md./Calvert Hall) (170, 64th).
The Rams return to action next Tuesday when they travel to the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational.
