Josh Petty (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll/Queens University of Charlotte) scored an unassisted goal at the 83:09 mark to lift Shepherd (4-1-2) to a 1-0 win over Lackawanna (0-5-2) in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday afternoon.

Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) recorded three saves for the Rams. Rowin Thomas posted six saves for the Falcons.
Shepherd had a 20-9 advantage in shots with a 7-3 edge in shots on goal. The Rams had a 10-0 margin in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 7 p.m. match.
