Prior to Shepherd: A 2015 graduate of Sherando High School where she played tennis for Trevor Johnson .. a transfer from Averett University where she posted an 8-8 mark in singles play and a 6-9 record in doubles action.

Personal: The daughter of Eric and Charlotte Scott ... majoring in nursing ... her cousin, Gus Frerotte, played in the NFL.
