Jabre Lolley (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) rushed 22 times for 149 yards and a pair of scores to lead Shepherd University (2-0, 2-0 MEC) to a 42-34 win over Glenville State (0-3, 0-3 MEC) in MEC football action at Glenville State on Saturday.
Shepherd took a 7-0 lead when Lolley scored on a one-yard plunge out of the Wildcat formation with 9:20 left in the first quarter. Senior kicker

Glenville State tied the game when Thomas Boles ran 12 yards for a score with 5:12 left in the first quarter.
The Pioneers took a 14-7 lead when Jaylen McNair teamed with Damon Robinson on an 81-yard touchdown minutes later.
Shepherd tied the game with 1:29 left in the first quarter when Jessop fired a 16-yard scoring strike to junior wide receiver

Glenville State retook the lead when McNair teamed with Javon Butler on a 38-yard scoring pass with 10:14 left in the second quarter.
Jessop and Feiss teamed on a three-yard scoring pass with 4:15 left in the second quarter to make it a 21-21 score at the break.
McNair fired a 12-yard scoring pass to Butler with 11:38 left in the third quarter to give the Pioneers a 28-21 advantage.
Glenville upped its lead when McNair and Boles teamed on a 1-yard scoring strike with 4:17 left in the third quarter to extend the lead to 34-21.
Shepherd cut the deficit when sophomore running back
Patrick Griffin (Seaford, Del./Sussex Tech) bulled his way into the end zone from 15 yards out with 1:56 left in the third quarter.
The Rams took the lead for good at 35-34 when Lolley rambled 17 yards for a scored and Wise added the PAT with 13:13 left in the fourth quarter.
Jessop teamed with freshman wide receiver
Duron Norris (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) on a 42-yard scoring strike with 12:27 left to complete the scoring.
McNair completed 20-of-31 passes for 298 yards and four scores for the Pioneers.
Feiss led the Shepherd receivers with 16 catches for 181 yards, while Butler had five catches for 106 yards for the Pioneers. Feiss set a Shepherd single-game mark with his 16 receptions.
Shepherd gained 541 yards of total offense, while Glenville State had 356.
Senior defensive end
Elijah Norris (Upper Marlboro, Md./Archbishop Carroll/UConn) led the Shepherd defense with seven tackles (six solos). He added 3.5 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks.
Senior inside linebacker James Gupton (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added six tackles (five solos) with a tackle-for-loss. Earon Settles had 12 tackles (nine solos) to pace the Pioneers.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host West Virginia State for a noon contest for Family Weekend/Hall of Fame Weekend.
