SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- University (18-0, 6-0 PSAC) posted a 3-1 (26-24, 25-27, 25-23, 25-19) win over Slippery Rock (7-11, 2-4 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at Slippery Rock on Saturday. The Rams increased their winning streak to 18 matches.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 22 kills and 16 digs to lead the Rams. Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend)Â Â added 10 kills, while junior middle hitter Nicole Murray (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) ha d nine.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 46 assists, 18 digs, and three aces. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 24 digs and sophomore middle hitter Georgia Ohmke (Falls Church, Va./Justice) topped the squad with seven blocks.
Abigail Koeller had 12 kills, while Sophie Varndell added 11 for The Rock. Kalie Fucci and Stefanie Jacobson each added 21 digs
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 7 p.m. match.
