SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (21-2, 9-2 PSAC ) dropped a 3-2 (25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 25-15, 13-15) decision to Millersville(18-6, 8-3 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night.

Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend)  had 22 kills to pace the Rams. Junior middle hitter Nicole Murray (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) had 15 kills, while senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) added 12 kills and 11 digs.

Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 52 assists and tied Hill with a match-high three aces. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 23 digs.

Jayci Suseland had 16 kills and Haley Butler added 14 to lead the Marauders. Katie Laughman had 43 assists and eight digs.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host West Chester for a 1 p.m. match.
