SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (22-2, 10-2 PSAC ) recorded a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-12) win over West Chester (14-12, 2-11 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday afternoon.

Senior outside hitter Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) had nine kills, while senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) and junior middle hitter Nicole Murray (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown)  each added eight to pace the Rams. Murray also notched a match-high six blocks.

Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 27 assists and six digs. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 14 digs.  Major added a match-high six aces. She recorded six consecutive aces in the third set.

Julia Vreeswyk had six kills to lead the Golden Rams . Shaye Whiteman added 10 digs.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they host East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. match.
