SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (22-3, 10-3 PSAC ) dropped a 3-1 (22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 21-25) decision to East Stroudsburg (22-4, 12-1 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 21 kills and 13 digs to lead the Rams. Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added 18 kills and seven digs.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 42 assists and 12 digs. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 23 digs. Freshman middle blocker Elyssia Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) recorded a team-high five blocks.
Sarah Smith had 14 kills and 18 digs to lead the Warriors. Sam Dunphy added nine kills, 10 digs, and seven blocks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Kutztown for a 4 p.m. match.
