SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (23-3, 11-3 PSAC ) recorded a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-11) win over Kutztown (9-15, 3-11 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Senior Day on Saturday.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) and senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend)Â Â each had eight kills to pace the Rams. Freshman middle blocker Elyssia Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge)added seven kills.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 31 assists, eight digs, and three aces. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 12 digs recorded a team-high five blocks.
Holly Owen had 11 kills and Erin Patterson added eight to lead the Golden Bears.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 7 p.m. match.
