ERIE, Pa. – Shepherd University (28-6) dropped a 3-2 (22-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22, 8-15) decision to East Stroudsburg (29-6) in the PSAC Volleyball Tournament finals at Gannon on Saturday night.
Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had a match-high 25 kills to lead the Rams.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 14 kills and 12 digs. Freshman middle blocker Elyssia Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) had seven kills and a team-high nine blocks.
Junior libero Milleysha Molina-Otero (Fairfax, Va./Chantilly) recorded 14 digs, while freshman outside hitter Mikaylah Hoy (Sharpsburg, Md./Heritage Academy) had 10. Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) posted 49 assists. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) recorded a match-high 35 digs and three aces.
Tournmaent MVP Sarah Smith had 16 kills and 17 digs to lead the Warriors. Sam Dunphy added 10 kills, while Trea-Sure Ketter had nine kills and 10 blocks.
