CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Shepherd University volleyball team (12-0) gained a pair of wins at the Lee Invitational. The Rams gained a 3-0 (25-9, 25-19, 25-15) win over Concord (1-8) in an early match and added a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-21) triumph over host Lee (6-3) in a later match. The 12-match winning streak is the longest in program history. The winning streak record eclipses the old mark of 10 set in 2018.
Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had 12 kills and senior outside hitter Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) added eight to lead the Rams in the win over Concord.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 39 assists and four aces.
Kristi Pouncy had six kills and 10 digs to lead the Mountain Lions.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 22 kills and eight digs to pace the Rams against Lee. She had an impressive .571 attack percentage.
Lindblad added 11 kills, while senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) recorded 12 digs.
Bailey Kress and Quinne Daoust each had eight kills to lead Lee.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Pitt-Johnstown for a 7 p.m. match
